Must-Have Shoes
Shoes have forever been and will always be my weakness. I was that girl in high school that dressed up and wore heels every single day [I was voted most fashionable for senior year superlatives...lol]. Shoes to me are a staple accessory for every outfit and take any outfit - whether dressy, casual or athleisure style - to the next level. I'm here to share some of my recent finds and you're in luck because most are on crazy sale right now...time to stock up!
BOOTS + BOOTIES
Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin' everywhere [try saying that without singing it...you just can't!]. Booties are a staple in the fall and winter. The variety of styles, fabrics and heel heights creates an endless world of opportunities for outfits; there is something for everyone! I love having a mix of chunky/block heels and stilettos.
Nine West: Teresa Pointy Toe Booties - $69.99 [regular $129.99] - I love the simplicity of these with the accent button closure and detail at the top. Perfect to pair with jeans and a plain tee, or with a skirt and sheer tights.
Nine West: Tyronah Booties - $69.99 [regular $129.99] - these are the epitome of business in the front, party in the back! I love the combo of the suede and leather, and the accent chain detail gives these booties some serious sass! They also make a knee-high version of these that don't have the chain accent...super cute!
Sam Edelman: Olette Suede Booties - $90 [regular $150] - the perfect staple nude bootie for every closet! They go with everything and anything and can be dressed up or dressed down and the heel height is super reasonable...what could be better?!
Nine West Shoe Studio: Nine West Fifer 9X - $49.98 [regular $139.99] - I got the greatest bargain on these boots ever! I scored mine for only $19 at the Nine West Outlet because that specific store was closing and it was an "everything must go" type of sale. I got them in navy blue suede with the black accent swirl. Unfortunately that color combo and the black suede pictured are both sold out but the red suede with black accent are still available! I liked the navy color I got because it's something I wouldn't traditionally go for [which I'm not sure why] but it's such a neutral that it's slowly becoming a go-to for me. Always fun to change it up!
Nine West: Savitra Pointy Toe Booties - $49.99 [regular $119] - I love these booties so much I got them in both black suede and grey suede. The chunkier heel makes them a perfect everyday bootie and a must-have. The grey is sadly sold out but the black suede and a few other fun prints are still available!
Target: Merona Lucile Laser Cut Out Booties - $24.48 [regular $34.99] - these booties are perfect for fall, winter [if no snow] and spring. They are cute and casual, and the barely-there heel makes them the perfect accessory to pair with some raw hemmed jeans. Their versatility also makes the changing of the seasons a breeze.
Nine West: Okena Tall Boots - $89.99 [regular $189] - because every girl needs a pair of black knee-high boots in their closet. I love these and love that they are suede. Sometimes knee-high black leather boots look a little like stripper boots to me...but these don't at all! I've paired them with a dress and sheer tights for work, or a pair of jeans with a blazer. Another versatile pair of boots!
HEELS
Your girl looooooves a good pair of heels. I can't rock the skyscraper stilettos I used to but there is nothing that makes me feel more fierce, powerful or girly than a pair of stilettos. I loved this pair so much that I got them in two colors...because why not?!
Nine West: Jarrah d'Orsay Pumps - $39.99 [regular $99] - a classic nude and black pump with some serious sass and style. The best part is those small gold pieces you see on the laces, those are adjustable!! This means, no matter if you have a wide foot or not, these bad boys will adjust to fit perfectly. This is a huge win for me on event nights because after hours on my feet, they tend to swell and I can now adjust these shoes so they aren't cutting into my feet. YAY!
MULES + FLATS
As much as I love my stilettos, sometimes you need a good pair of flats that still add that spunk to an outfit. I've got you covered! I mean, the bows on these mules...adorable!! Sparkle slip on sneakers...yes!!
Nine West: Zeal Pointy Toe Mules - $89 - I mean, does it get any better than these?! I almost bought them in every color, no joke. I settled for the yellow suede - which will be so cute for spring and summer - and the black suede, perfect all year! The bow detail on the top is to die for and one of my favorite current trends...give me all the bow details!! These will become a staple in your wardrobe instantly!
Target: dv Lamra Slip On Embellished Boucle Sneakers - $27.99 - slip on + sneakers + sparkle = a win, win, win! These are super cute for those casual or athleisure days. They do need to be broken in a bit...be sure to wear some band-aids on your heels the first few times you wear them to avoid blisters [my "I got so many blisters" real life tip!]
And that my friends, is a look inside my current shoe closet. As you can see I have quite the obsession with Nine West shoes and I have for years and years and years. They truly are such high quality and their attention to detail is on point...and on trend. I promise you will not be disappointed!! For reference, I'm typically a 6.5 in shoes and all of the Nine West shoes and the Sam Edelman listed above I have in 6.5, they run true to size. The shoes from Target I did size down to a 6.
