2019 Gift Guide: For the Health + Fitness Guru

2019 Gift Guide: For the Health + Fitness Guru -- The Life She Wanders

The 2019 Gift Guide week continues and this one goes out to all of the health + fitness gurus out there. Living a healthy lifestyle has always been so important to me so I loved putting this guide together! I actually own each of the items included and love them so much, some of which I use every single day.

First up on the list is something y’all have seen me talk about A LOT on Instagram and stories. I just recently got these adidas Adizero Boston 8 Sneakers and I am in LOVE!! I didn’t know it was possible to like a pair of sneakers this much but they are heavenly and fit absolutely perfect. They come in a few different color combinations but I loved the classic black and white; I think it makes them super versatile. The shoes run TTS and I wear a 6. They are currently on sale for $84 [originally $120] so don’t miss out on these!

When something has “Live In” in the name of it, they better live up to that standard and these Zella Live In High Waist Pocket 7/8 Leggings do just that. I seriously live in these! They are great for lounging, running errands, working out and beyond. The fabric is incredibly soft and I love the pockets on the side of the leggings. They are high waisted and stay put all day long. I also love that they are 7/8 length - perfect for us shorter gals!

Socks were never something I thought actually mattered until I tried out these Feetures! Merino 10 Ultra Light No Show Tab. Oh my gosh y’all…socks make a difference! I was hesitant they’d make my feet super sweaty being merino wool but they don’t one bit! I own these in just about every color possible and every Christmas my parents put some in my stocking. Trust me on this one, these socks do not disappoint and are worth every penny! They run TTS and I wear them in a size small.

Next on the list is something that I use nearly every single day. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides [20oz.] are my ride-or-die health item. Collagen peptides do wonders for your hair, skin, nails and digestion. Now, it doesn’t happen overnight but if you take these routinely, I promise you’ll see a difference. My hair is so much stronger and I rarely get split ends, my nails grow so fast and are much stronger than they ever were, and it’s a great source of extra protein - especially for someone like me who doesn’t eat a lot of meat. I add collagen peptides to my coffee, tea, pancakes, pasta sauce, basically anything! I typically will do one scoop in whatever my food/drink is and that works for me.

I’ve been an Under Armour fan for as long as I can remember. They make great quality athletic gear that lasts years and years and years. I’m a big fan of their running shorts and just got a pair so similar to these Under Armour UA Fly-By Running Shorts. They are lightweight and breathable which is key for me in running shorts., and they have a built in brief which is becoming a must-have, too. I love that they have pockets on the side too, something you don’t see too often in running shorts. These run TTS and I wear an XS.

Whether it’s soreness from sitting or standing too long, or tight muscles from a workout, a foam roller will be your best friend. I love this TriggerPOINT Grid Foam Roller because the grid layout really gets deep into the muscles to work out any knots or tightness. It’s kind of that hurts so bad but feels so good type of things lol

Last but not least on the list are these Under Armour Storm Run Liner Running Gloves. I ran track in high school in Upstate NY so gloves were a must when running in the snow 90% of the time. Those gloves are long gone but my new love are these from Under Armour. I love how fitted they are and they truly keep your hands so warm. Whether you are walking the dog or going for a walk/run, your hands will love you for wearing these!

And there you have it, my go-to gift guide for the health + fitness guru in your life! If you have any must-have gift suggestions let me know and I’ll add them to a bonus section at the bottom of this post. Happy holidays!
